Why We Need You

As the National Director, A&D Sales and Strategic Partnerships, you will establish Ames A&D Sales Team as the recognized leader, specifier of choice, in the markets and segments we serve, resulting in sustainable growth in sales and profitability. Ensure alignment in go-to-market strategy between Marketing and A&D Sales Team nationally.

What You'll Do

  • Hire, develop, and retain A players to the A&D team and model Ames values.
  • Coach and mentor A&D team members.
  • Lead A&D business strategy development and segmentation tactics.
  • Collaborate with VP Marketing to align support functions for sales growth.
  • Expand brand presence into new markets like Ontario.
  • Design rep territories and key accounts strategically.
  • Implement KPIs and CRM workflows to drive accountability.
  • Coordinate closely with Marketing to unify the client experience.
  • Act as a key participant in product selection and industry education.
  • Build trust across all sales functions and lead digital transformation initiatives.
  • Represent Ames in key industry organizations and events.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of sales leadership experience in A&D or construction.
  • Proven success in leading regional growth strategies.
  • Strong financial acumen and CRM proficiency.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
